The Derek Lewis Foundation on Saturday, June 2, 2018 hosts its Annual Community Health & Wellness Expo, at St. John Baptist Church. The Expo will provide basic health services and health information to the Central Arkansas community. This is one of the few health expo in Central Arkansas designed to provide basic health services and information to underserved individuals living in the area.
The health expo, which is totally free and open to the public, will take place on the campus of St. John Baptist Church. There will be over 50 information booths, fitness demos, cooking demos, as well as free screenings for blood pressure, body mass index, blood glucose, etc. and youth school and sports physicals. There will also be several activities for youth of all ages in “Kid’s Corner” including food, music, and a youth and teen fitness camp. The expo is a collaborative effort of several Little Rock community organizations
The big addition to the Expo this year is the Walk2Thrive 3K Walk to kick off the expo!
